During our first exploration to find a place to land, we stumbled upon Torrente - a hidden gem of a small city located just outside of Valencia. And boy, were we in for a treat!
As we walked through the city's beautiful palm tree-lined walkways, we were captivated by its bustling energy. We hadn't planned on visiting Torrente, but we were pleasantly surprised by its charm and vibrant atmosphere.
So much so that when we started looking for a more permanent place to stay, we immediately thought of this lovely city. And we weren't disappointed - we found everything we needed, from a hospital to numerous bars and restaurants. For families with children, there are plenty of parks and schools to keep the little ones busy for years to come.
However, it's important to note that the town is located inland and doesn't have a beach. But that didn't stop us from loving it! The only downside we noticed was for the drivers among us - there are a lot of pedestrian crossings, so it's important to stay alert when passing through by car.
If you find yourself in Valencia with some free time, do yourself a favor and visit Torrente. Trust us, you won't regret it!
