It's been a while, but I've got some seriously exciting updates to share. Life in Spain has been a whirlwind of renovation adventures, and we're loving every second of it!
Can you believe it's been a whole year since we moved here? We've been knee-deep in revamping our house, from creating a stunning new kitchen to sprucing up our garden. We're even getting a guest room ready for anyone craving a taste of Spanish paradise.
Throughout the renovations, we've been exploring the local shops and making trips to Valencia for all our home improvement needs. And let's not forget our trusty friend, IKEA, which has definitely saved the day more than once.
While we've tackled a lot on our own, we've had some expert help with the water installations because, let's be honest, we're not pros at that. We're also on a mission to phase out gas usage because relying on bottled gas in the campo just feels too risky. Our plan is to shift to using more electricity and eventually incorporate solar power, making the most of the abundant sunshine here in Spain.
Sure, we've stumbled upon a few surprises left behind by the previous owners, but overall, we're making fantastic progress and we can't wait to see it all come together.
