After the flood, we felt the urge to break free from our current situation and embark on a little adventure. It had been ages since we explored a new city, and we were ready for a change of scenery.
This time, we set our sights on Albacete, a gem that had been on our to-do list for far too long. The journey there was a delight, filled with stunning landscapes that made the drive feel like part of the adventure. Once we arrived, Albacete welcomed us with open arms.
We scored a fantastic above-ground parking spot where we could leave the car all day for just 2 euros—talk about a bargain! After a delicious lunch, we strolled through the streets, eager to uncover the city’s highlights.
One of the best parts of our day was taking our little one to a playground. It had been a while since he enjoyed that kind of fun, especially since the playground we usually frequent was washed away. His laughter as he played was priceless.
We’re already dreaming of our next visit to this charming town, ready to explore even more of what Albacete has to offer. So, if you find yourself with some free time and a sense of wanderlust, I highly recommend hitting the road to Albacete!
