This will be one of the last blog posts I will write while still living in The Netherlands.
As most of you are already aware we are leaving The Netherlands for a new life in Spain. This will mark a new start for us with new challenges hopefully a whole lot of relaxation in a better climate.
As most journeys go you need to prepare and have a general idea of what you are doing. Also with our journey, as we have done some research we knew we need to get an NIE to do something in Spain.
So we tried to get an appointment at the Spanish embassy in Amsterdam with no luck as all the spots were taken.
So we reached out to NIE Nummer Aanvragen, an online service agent, which did everything for us. From making the appointments to paying for the taxes and on-site support in case needed.
Next to that, we needed to have a place to sleep and work, as a hotel is nice but isn't going to cut it, so we rented an apartment.
