Love your parents

A story about loss and love.

This time I will blog with some bad news. I finally found some mental time to do this as last week has been a blur of all kinds of things mashed together. All I can still remember about it is that we stayed at my father his place and searched through quite some stuff.

So it might be better that I start at the beginning.

Last Sunday my dad and my sister were on their way to my uncle, his brother, who is in the hospital to visit him and check how he is.

However on this way he, unfortunately, took a wrong turn and ended upside-down in a river, yes my sister was in the car as well. Talking about miracles, in some way my sister came out of the car in one piece, just a bit blue and sore. How? even the police don't know yet.

So completely unexpected the entire week was in light of preparing for his funeral and preparing for other stuff, as also the house has no owner at the current time and needs to be sold in some time. Just like all the stuff he and my mother had needs to be cleared out, which will give the next emotional hit.

But for now, I will rest my eyes a bit, and thank my parents for all they have done, as thanks to them I am who I am today.

Thanks, mom, and dad for all your care, and both have a peaceful rest.
