Still thinking about my own company

Still think about this for a very long time

For a very long time, I have been thinking about my own company as this still is a dream of mine. The reason for this is that with all my employers I have found some technical thing that was bothering me.

At Moyo this was the lack of technical advancement, ad Royals at Work this was the absence of used defaults, at Brickson, this was the fixture on Joomla, now at Sition, this is the use of Shopware although, between Shopware and Magento, Shopware is the lesser evil.

The source of this frustration is the forced updates of shopware, and the fact (in which my employer is right) is they focus on features instead of stability.

So how would I form a company if I was to start? I would focus on web systems instead of only webshops, meaning custom applications.

How would I do this? I would start out using WordPress because it is a very simple system and most people also want some kind of CMS. It is possible to do this with Laravel but this is a lot of work to make.

What is keeping me from doing this? It isn't the technical part, but mostly the other parts attached in having your own company like the absence of colleagues and having to do sales which isn't my strong suite.

But other than that there is almost nothing stopping me except still for a couple of technical questions for which I already have some answers.

Perhaps I might be looking for some customers before starting, also finding some more time for this as well.

This of course depending on what is going to happen at Sition.
